Abstract

Blue economy is a term that refers to economic sectors related to the sea and marine resources, Fisheries itself plays an important role in the Indonesian economy because this country has one of the richest and diverse fishery resources in the world, Sumenep Regency is one of the regions that has great potential in the blue economy sector, especially in the fisheries sector, One of the products from fisheries is terasi or shrimp paste, yet there are several issues, including not knowing how to make the optimal shrimp paste. By using linear programming, companies can make more informed and strategic decisions in efforts to achieve profit maximization within a complex and limited environment constrained by various limitations. From this research using linear programming, it is determined that Berkah Jaya Terasi Company will be optimal if it produces 215 boxes per week of Premium Shrimp Paste and 170 boxes per week of Premium Fish Paste, resulting in a maximum profit of Rp. 1,755,000 per week.
